Platform connecting companies and lawyers with legal industry focused video content
NEW YORK, March 8, 2023 – FRONTEO (TSE: 2158) has announced that the number of registered members of its membership portal site, FRONTEO Legal Link Portal ( https://legal.fronteo.com/en/fllp/, referred to as "FLLP") , reached 10,000 on February 15, 2023.
Since its June 2020 inception, FLLP has operated as a platform that connects lawyers and experts with corporate executives that are considering consulting directly with lawyers, including those responsible for and in charge of legal and intellectual property matters. As a forum, we have contributed to solving the issues faced by each company. The portal site's contents are enriched with a wide range of information containing an international flavor, such as videos of commentary by experienced attorneys, experts in legal technology, and other knowledgeable legal professionals. The portal also maintains a listing of regularly scheduled webinars that utilize a network of law firms FRONTEO has cultivated in Japan and abroad through its international litigation support.
In terms of specific topics, we aim to introduce the latest domestic and international trends with a focus on international litigation, fraud investigations, compliance, and other various cross border related matters, and to also provide information that is useful to FLLP members for practical use. In recent years, increasing awareness of ESG issues has made human rights due diligence an inevitable theme for TSE prime-listed companies and global companies, and FLLP is expanding its content information on a daily basis to include topics in line with such trends.
As a result of continuing to deliver webinars that appeal to those in charge of legal and intellectual property matters, the number of registered users reached 10,000 on February 15, 2023. As of this same date, there were more than 210 speakers, mainly from 56 major law firms in Japan and the US, and more than 560 videos available for viewing. If the number of new registrants continues to increase at the current pace, we expect the number of total members to reach approximately 12,000 by the end of 2023.
The individual free study sessions by Japanese and U.S. experts, which are held to meet the diverse needs of FLLP companies, have been well received by the membership community. This content also serves as a platform to support the "expansion of opportunities for talented lawyers and experts" and "enhancement of corporate legal competitiveness".
