Tokyo, Japan, March 26, 2026 - FRONTEO, Inc. (Head Office: Tokyo, Japan; President & CEO: Masahiro Morimoto; hereinafter “FRONTEO”) and Shionogi & Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Osaka, Japan; Chief Executive Officer: Isao Teshirogi, Ph.D.; hereinafter “Shionogi”) are pleased to announce their participation in the “Everyone's Peace of Mind 100 Years Project,” which will be launched by Asahi Mutual Life Insurance Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Tokyo, Japan; President & CEO: Kenichiro Ishijima; hereinafter “Asahi Life”) in April 2026. The two companies will begin offering “TalkLab KIBIT,” a conversational “Brain Health Score”* assessment web application service jointly developed by FRONTEO and Shionogi, within the ecosystem established by this project.
*The “Brain Health Score” in TalkLab KIBIT is a score generated by AI that analyzes contextual connections and lexical diversity during conversation, providing a comprehensive indicator of memory, language comprehension, and information processing abilities. It is not a medical device and is not intended for the diagnosis of any disease or medical condition.
Background and Objectives of Asahi Life’s “Everyone’s Peace of Mind 100-Year Project”
As of 2023, the number of people in Japan certified as requiring support or long-term care has reached approximately 7 million, and this figure is projected to reach approximately 9.5 million by 2030*1,2. Furthermore, working caregivers—who balance their jobs with caring for family members—face the challenge of juggling work and caregiving, and it is estimated that this will result in economic losses exceeding 9 trillion yen by 2030*3.
In response to these serious social challenges and recognizing the growing need for support that goes beyond mere financial security when it comes to long-term care, Asahi Life has launched the “Everyone’s Peace of Mind 100-Year Project” to provide comprehensive long-term care solutions.
This project is a “Care and Dementia Ecosystem” developed by Asahi Life in collaboration with external companies to provide comprehensive support ranging from prevention to caregiving assistance after onset of dementia. Through the dedicated portal site “Minna no Anshin Care and Dementia Navi” and ongoing support provided by Asahi Life's sales staff, the project aims to provide peace of mind throughout the 100-year life era.
FRONTEO and Shionogi support the objectives of this project and, through TalkLab KIBIT within this ecosystem, will assist in visualizing users’ “Brain Health Score” through AI-based analysis of conversational data. By providing opportunities for self-assessment through everyday conversation, the companies will contribute to initiatives that help raise users’ health awareness and encourage them to improve their lifestyle habits.
