Proceedings in the United States require that electronic data and documents be submitted as evidence by the due date in accordance with appropriate procedures, and for both parties to disclose evidence and sort through issues prior to trial. This process is called eDiscovery, and it is essential for corporations involved in proceedings to sort through all necessary information promptly and appropriately to avoid disadvantageous circumstances. This process of sorting through data (Review) is the most time-consuming and costly in eDiscovery. In recent years, the amount of electronic data generated by communication, such as email, chat, and internal company documents, has increased in line with work efficiency that is now achievable by utilizing AI in the review process.

In this seminar, two lawyers with abundant experience and knowledge about TAR (Technology Assisted Review) will provide lectures, focusing on the latest issues and how to utilize artificial intelligence. They will provide an overview of best practices in litigation and large-scale investigations, discuss latest trends in TAR, and cover technologies likely to be accepted by government agencies and litigation partners.
