Christopher Kao, Partner at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, delivered a helpful review of recent developments at the USPTO regarding Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) and other proceedings. He also explained an update on litigation financing for IP cases in the U.S., including the (1) availability of financing for plaintiffs and (2) the potential disclosure requirements.
