FRONTEO Korea built AI review tool “KIBIT Automator” on NAVER cloud

By building KIBIT Automator on a cloud environment, we will create a highly reliable service platform that meets a large amount of data processing demand, improve data analysis efficiency, and reduce man-hours and costs.

NEW YORK, July 28, 2021 – FRONTEO (TSE: 2158) announced that FRONTEO Korea, Inc., a subsidiary of FRONTEO, Inc., has built an AI review tool, "KIBIT Automator", equipped with our uniquely developed AI "KIBIT" on the NAVER cloud platform and has begun full-scale service provisioning.

KIBIT Automator had been previously available only in data centers dedicated to Korea. By extending KIBIT Automator to the cloud environment, KIBIT Automator can respond more smoothly and reliably to demands such as processing large amounts of data and maintaining information security. This will provide a variety of data hosting and analysis options depending on customer’s needs.

KIBIT Automator prioritizes the extraction of highly relevant data as evidence from a huge amount of unstructured data by artificial intelligence. It is a solution that helps improve the efficiency of analysis. KIBIT Automator is mainly used for document review in eDiscovery in international proceedings where the number of documents to be disclosed and the number ofdocuments to be investigated tends to be voluminous.

KIBIT Automator analyzes the entire document population in a short period of time based on the training data that KIBIT learned and applies a score according to the degree of relevance (Ex. high score = highly relevant). Document reviewers can proceed with reviews in descending order of score, allowing them to review documents more likely to be relevant first, and complete the review process faster. During the analysis process, the AI checks the errors that can occur due to human subjective judgment, and displays the quality and performance of the reviewers' work on a QC (quality control) heat map to improve the reliability of document reviews. 　This can be expected to reduce the time required for largedocument reviews while simultaneously improving the review quality.
